Webstore.com Reviews. Is Webstore.com Legit or a Scam?

Webstore.com Reviews. Is Webstore.com Legit or a Scam?

The Webstore.com reviews show that this site is billed as an online selling place where there are no buyer or seller fees. This is an intriguing model. The idea is relatively simple. The buyers and the sellers do not have to pay any fees because the site depends on advertisers to generate revenue. While this is a viable site, for those looking for a deal, AuctionResource.org seems to be a more popular choice.

It seems like if you don’t mind ads this may be a great place to shop and save some money. Think Ebay without fees.

How It Works

If you are a buyer you simply register by submitting some information about yourself. You will need a email address and a credit or debit card for registration. Registration is free and the credit or debit card is used primarily for identification purposes.

If you are a seller it is the same deal. Insertion fees are free of course there are some charges if you want to amp up your ad.

There is a verification process that you can opt in for. If you are a seller this will give you a bit more reliability presented to potential buyers. The verification process costs ten dollars.

It is not mandatory and  it is not even strongly suggested it is just an option.

The site seems pretty legit but it is hard to tell if you don’t participate in a deal so I checked out some reviews and found at killerstartups.com “ this is a great site that offers a good alternative to the high fees over at Ebay”

I did not find anything negative or gimmicky about this site thus far. From what I can tell no one was being paid to post positive comments about the site.

The inventory was a bit lack luster. There was tons of inventory but a lot of stuff that is used and not really anything to write home to mom about. Maybe the inventory will improve as the word spreads about the site.

It is hard for a company to compete with Ebay no matter what it offers because Ebay is just so trusted by folks.

Another Downer

There is not a lot of security in place so you are shopping at your own risk. If a seller does not pay to get verified than you really don’t know who you are doing business with.

Bottom Line

Check it out but be careful! Online safety is always important. Use paypal to pay for purchases!

Overall, the Webstore.com reviews show that this is a legit site and is not a scam, however using  a service like Auctionresource.org may be a better choice.
